Terms and Conditions

SCHEDULED ARRIVAL & APPOINTMENT PUNCTUALITY

  • Clients are required to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment. This allows time for check-in, consultation, use of facilities, and service preparation.
  • We operate a strict time schedule to ensure fairness for all clients.
  • If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your treatment time may be reduced or your appointment forfeited entirely.

  • In the case of forfeiture due to lateness, the full service fee will still be payable.

CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling, regardless of how the booking was made.
  • Appointments cancelled, changed, or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
  • Appointments booked within 24 hours are non-refundable and cannot be downgraded.
  • Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in the salon refusing to accept future bookings.
  • Deposits, where required, are calculated per treatment and are non-refundable if notice is not provided within the required timeframe.

DISCOUNTS & PROMOTIONS

We are pleased to offer the following ongoing discounts:
  • 10% Off for clients under 18 (with signed parental consent).
  • 10% Off for students (valid student ID or UNiDAYS required).
  • 10% Off for birthdays (valid within 7 days before or after your birthday).
  • 5% Off when booking hand and foot treatments together.
  • Loyalty cards are available but cannot be used with student discounts.

Additional Terms:
  • Discounts and promotions are subject to availability and may be changed or withdrawn at any time without prior notice.
  • Promotional offers cannot be combined.

CLIENT CONSENT FORMS

  • To ensure your safety and to comply with insurance requirements, a new client consent form must be completed every six (6) months.
  • Treatments cannot proceed without a signed consent form.

TREATMENT BUNDLES

  • Full payment is required at the time of purchase.
  • Bundles are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • All sessions must be used within two (2) months of purchase. Expired sessions will not be honored or extended.

GIFT VOUCHERS

  • Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Lost, stolen, or damaged vouchers will not be replaced.
  • Vouchers are not exchangeable for cash, and no change will be given.
  • Remaining balances may be used until the expiry date.

LOST PROPERTY

  • Clients are responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
  • 1ST CLASS NAILS AND BEAUTY accepts no liability for lost, damaged, or stolen items on the premises.

AFTERCARE SERVICE

  • If you experience chipping within 3 days of regular polish, or within 7 days for gel polish, please contact us promptly with a photo via email or social media.
  • A complimentary repair or touch-up may be offered within 7 days of your appointment.
  • Services reported outside this time frame will incur a nominal fee.

PRIVACY POLICY

  • We respect your privacy and are committed to safeguarding your personal information.
  • Your details will only be used for salon-related communication and will not be shared with third parties.
  • We comply with all applicable UK Data Protection laws.

REFUND POLICY

  • All purchases are final.
  • We do not offer refunds or exchanges for treatments, products, or vouchers.

PROMOTIONAL OFFERS

  • From time to time, time-limited promotions may be offered.
  • All offers are subject to availability and cannot be combined with other discounts.
  • 1st Class Nails and Beauty reserves the right to modify or withdraw promotions at any time without notice.

RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

  • We maintain a professional, respectful, and safe environment for both staff and clients.
  • Abusive, rude, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
  • The salon reserves the right to refuse or terminate services at any time if a client fails to comply with these Terms & Conditions.
  • In such cases, full service fees remain payable.
